Doggie Depot, a local grooming parlor for pets, came to the rescue of  the Antioch shelter. On a Monday instead of taking their normal day off, the owner and two staff groomers spent the entire day at the shelter  cleaning up over 23 of the cats in a single day. It was a huge endeavor but the cats were grateful to be able to move again. It was amazing to watch them move through such severe matting without knicking the skin.
