January 10 Update: What an amazing boy. Maxim is now 10lbs. and has lots of energy and is enjoying life. He still has a minor diarrhea problem but is a lot better. Blue Abyssinian boys are so special. They have the Abyssinian personality but tend to be a bit more laid back. Maxim is no exception. He loves to climb into your lap and lay there being petted and loved. Someone will be very lucky to get this wonderful boy. He is probably a month from being posted to the adoptable page.

This is a full grown Aby and very long and lanky. He weighed under 5 1/2 lbs when we got him. You could see his hip bones and his ribs. But I am happy to report that after 2 weeks he is now 7lbs. He will look great with another pound on him. His raging diarrhea took away his energy and he still can’t jump up to his cage but he is now jumping out of it. Made you want to cry to see how thin he was. He also had ear mites and 2 skin conditions probably from his immune system being down. They are both being treated,
