Hannah fancies herself to be quite the jungle cat. As you can see by her pictures, she likes to find the highest spot in the greenery and look disdainfully at the lesser cats and humans beneath her. Now, if you've got a treat, or intend to scratch her chin, she's all about coming down to your level. We haven't had the heart to tell Hannah that she lives amongst towering silk plants and has never been out of doors in her life. She's happy with her little fantasy and we're happy for her.
Beautiful Hannah was dropped off at a shelter because her elderly human could no longer care for her. Luckily we got her out and into foster care quickly so she's stayed very healthy and not been exposed to any nasty bugs or viruses. As is typical of her breed, she's a healthy 12 lb. girl. A perfect size for a female ragdoll, although her foster mom thinks she could drop a pound with a little more exercise. Apparently standing watch over the household in the tree tops doesn't count as an acceptable exercise regimen.
Hannah will be fine in a household with one or two gentle cats as long as they give her a bit of space. She would also thrive as an only cat since she spent most of her life up until now as such.
Hannah's foster mom would like you to know that those are REAL plants, not silk ones. From all of us with black thumbs: We salute you!
Hannah is being fostered in Davis, CA.
