Faust. 1-2 yo Black & white, copper eyed Persian. Yes. There is a face behind all of those whiskers. A face with unbelievable copper eyes. Faust is a really beautiful cat who is also a sweet gentle boy. He was adopted and returned to Rescue through NO fault of his own. He is a good boy who uses the litter box perfectly, and is well behaved in every way. Not every human on this planet is up for the task of caring for a Persian. So, back to Rescue comes Faust.

If you want to adopt this Persian you need to have prior Persian experience. He's actually fairly easy care for a Persian. His eyes need to be cleaned, but they don't get nasty drainage like some of the extreme faced cats. He also has a very snuffly nose. Some people, and even some less educated vets, may assume the cat has allergies, asthma, or is sick. That is not the case. True Persian afficianados will just roll their eyes and say "that's a Persian for you". Cats like Faust have such small nasal passages that they snort and snuffle when they breath. We like to call him a Snortapuss.

Well, enough about Faust's nose. Let's get to the GREAT personality. He is a very quiet cat, and gentle, too. He has gone to a foster home with other Persians so we can see how he interacts with cats. His foster mom will have a glowing report to post soon.
