DART
18-24 month Domestic Shorthair/ Persian mix

Yes. It's true. Dart is part Persian. Not a whole lot of Persian in there, but Persian non-the-less.

Dart is the last of 50+ cats rescued from a terrible situation in Stanton, Southern California. We think she might be Stanton's(on the adopted page) daughter. When she first came to us she was so excited to be getting out and moving around that she used to dart toward the door. Hence the name.

In her time in Rescue, Dart has been a hero. Even though she was fairly young when we got her, she's nursed three different litters of kittens. None of them were her own. We were told that she'd been pregnant but lost the babies due to the stress of the move. But she must have still had milk because she was able to step in for some stray babies we found. Finally she's placed "her" last litter of kittens and has been spayed. She is now looking for her very own safe home where she can be the spoiled baby for the rest of her life.

We know Dart isn't the prettiest cat on our pages, but we think she is a kitty hero and deserves a wonderful home. Dart is easy going, gets along with most other cats once she knows them, and is used to dogs. She's shy in a new environment and would probably be afraid of small or loud children. Please give this girl a chance!
